The morning started out not so calm. We got up to a drainage bag with green drainage. Like pea soup colored. We have always been told green is not what you want to see so I called the hospital and had them page the on call Dr. He called back while we were opening gifts and said that a little green can happen sometimes because the intestines are backing up from moving so slowly. Green bile is from the liver. He said to watch it and to watch for her getting dehydrated or if any other symptoms are added. Is it weird that I am hoping this is just her gastric motility sucking today? I guess we are at the hospital on Monday so we will see if it continues about talking to someone. It just looked bad. It stained the cathator bag.
The rest of the morning was calmer then the first 30 minutes. Dan and I built her big gift yesterday morning while she slept. Brent and I got her a little tikes play garden thing. She loves it. Brent helped her open her gifts and then the adults opened theirs. I was excited because I got a new keyboard for my laptop! Jillian took the colon/semi colon key off during the summer so it is nice to have a full keyboard again. He also ordered me a new battery. My current battery only lasts about 5min before having to be pluged in and it dies without warning. It will be like a whole new laptop with just a couple of little things fixed on it!
We then took off for Lake Geneva. It was packed! We went to Starbucks and they had Santa and reindeer out front however the line to see them was long! We then ran over to Home Depot and Target.
Currently there is meat in the slow cooker for dinner and Jillian is taking a nap. It has been a nice family day! Nice and relaxing before a lot of activity the next few days.
