Cough, cough, cough

Jillian was up last night with an HORRID cough! It was a scary sound. It sounded like a croup cough. She had an erratic breathing pattern. I facetimed my mom to get her opinion. She all sat and watched her breath for a while. Over a half hour her cough started to get better and she fell asleep. We decided we would wait it out. She was up multiple times with little coughing fits but nothing like the first one. She stayed in bed until 10:45, but was up coughing multiple times.
During the day she was really sleepy but she only wanted to sleep on my chest. She had a few times that she liked to play but for the most part she just wanted to be held. I took her on a walk to get the mail and her nose and cough got a lot worse. I am wondering if this is caused by an allergy to something outside. It is also 10 days after her last shot. Every time 10 days after a shot she has a runny nose and other symptoms. I have spent the day cuddled up with my little cuddle bug.
Tonight we were all hanging out. Dan went down to check the basement with all the rain and came back up with a picture of a little friend he found in the basement. It was a spotted salamander. I went down and got him in a show box. We gave him one of the gecko's crickets and brought him outside. We hung out with him for awhile and then let him go in the wood pile. Dan hung out with Jillian while we looked at the salamander. We have been watching How I Met Your Mother tonight and just hanging out.
