Make a plan to educate 5 friends, family members, or media sources about tube feeding. What obstacles have you or your child overcome? Celebrate the successes. Show your tubie love!
I hope this week I have educated many people on our feeding tube journey! I am excited that we have also gone beyond that to put smiles on kids faces. Monday we drop off band-aids (so if you see me before then feel free to add to the collection) but so far we have over 5,000!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for joining with us in this goal. Thats over 5,000 smiles you have contributed to!
Today we are having a snow day at home. Often play time has something to do about medical things... that makes sense, kids play about what they know. For her birthday this year Jilli got the Playmobil hospital and for Christmas she got pieces to go in it. For her playing with it is a great way to process the things going on in her world. Lydia got a toddler doctors set and was playing with it this morning to give her bitty baby a check up. I am thankful for medical toys because they help my kids process things going on in their life.
