On Mothers Day we took Jilli to Bippity Boppity Boutique. It was AMAZING!!!!
She looked like such a big girl and did everything they asked. After checking in they had us wait on a bench until they called us to a dressing room. We brought our own dress with us for her to wear (the one you can buy there is really expensive while the one we got at a rummage sale was only $5) I went back with her and got her dressed. Then they had us go back to the waiting area until a fairy godmother was ready for us. Then they brought her over to a chair and the fairy godmother brushed her hair. A second fairy godmother came over and did her nails and makeup and put a sticker on her face. Jilli choose the princess bun. They covered her in glitter and then showed her how she looked in the mirror. Afterwards we were given a card to go over to the shop near by to have photos taken. Kindly they let Lydia join for a few of the pictures. The staff was all great and she had such a good time. I ended up re doing that same hair style most of the rest of our trip.
I struggled not to cry as sit sat in that chair looking like such a big girl. She was so happy and looked so grown up. All I could think about was how much she had gone through and how hard she had fought and how happy I was for her that she was getting this amazing opportunity. Going to Bippity Boppity was the light in the tunnel for her while she was in the hospital. She fought hard to hit milestones so that she could go. For her being well enough that day to sit in the chair and get treated like a princess was a huge deal.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from our trip!
