Brown and Pink Polka Dots : Jilli Birthday and friend christmas!

Its been a busy week! Its December and the week a very special little girl turned 4 so why wouldn't it by busy?

Last Sunday we met Brent's parents at Cracker Barrel for lunch and celebrated Jillian's birthday. Jilli like Cracker Barrel because it has a store. She had a fun time opening gifts and really likes her Tsum Tsum Mancala and Peppa school.

Wednesday we went to the zoo for zoo class about reindeer. It was her first 4 yr old zoo class and she had a lot of fun in the big kid room. It was too cold to do the outside part of zoo class so we missed meeting santa by the reindeer. After zoo class we went to Ronald McDonald House to see friends and they had holiday crafts set up for Jilli to do. She loved it! After we left we headed to Burlington for dinner. My brother's girlfriend was in town for a little over 48hr and so we met them for dinner.

Friday we headed to Great Wold Lodge. Jilli said that she didn't want a party this year for her birthday, instead she wanted to go to the water park. Our friends Jaime, Jason, Emerson and Dan all came up on Friday too and we had "friends Christmas" together. We swam in the water park, ordered in pizza, opened gifts, the kids got to meet Santa (I missed Lydia's first time meeting Santa because they had balloons by him), Christmas caroling, a Christmas story in the lobby, the clocktower show, and playing games and Saturday morning we ate breakfast in a gingerbread house and the money from it goes to Ronald McDonald House. It was a lot of fun! Saturday morning my parents drove up and we all celebrated Jillian's birthday together. She opened gifts and we all went swimming. The kids all took a nap and the moms went to the outlet mall. Then Jaime, Jason, Emerson and Dan headed home. We went swimming again before bedtime and then did the bedtime story again. We ate breakfast again in the gingerbread house this morning and then packed up. On our way back we stopped at Ronald McDonald House and celebrated Christmas with Holly, Kirk and Nate.

It was a really fun week and most importantly Jilli had lots of fun and said this was the best 4th birthday ever!

When we got to Great Wolf Jason took the three kids to go look at the clock tower and Brent, Jaime and I went to check us in, they said since we were together they would try to get up in rooms close to each other... we got to our rooms and they were next door and they upgraded our room to have two queen beds and a living room area which worked perfect for doing Christmas and Jilli's birthday because there was plenty of room... we are so grateful for the upgrade

Up until a few months ago Jilli really didn't have much play food but she started asking for it so for her birthday my parents and us got her some play food (we do Melissa and Doug play food at our house)
